About Damita Dixon

Kia ora koutou katoa — warm greetings to you all. Ko Damita Jo Dixon ahau, my name is Damita Jo Dixon, and I’m proud to bring my roots, resilience, and real-world experience to the world of Real Estate.

As a single mum of five amazing tamariki, I know the meaning of hard work, determination, and creating a home filled with love. Born in the King Country town of Te Kūiti and the eldest of six, I spent my childhood between Invercargill and Motueka before moving to Tauranga at 19 — a city I’ve come to know like the back of my hand over the past 28 years.

From packing apples and kiwifruit, to working in the freezing works and butchery industry, I've built a career with my hands and heart. More recently, I’ve spent four years in customer service and forklift operation, all while gaining qualifications in Computing, Te Reo Māori, Transport, and Real Estate — proudly completing my Level 4 certificate in 2023.

Having lived, worked and studied in both Tauranga and Mount Maunganui for over a decade, I’m deeply connected to our local community. My whānau and I have called Maungatapu home for many years — all five of my tamariki have attended Maungatapu Primary, and we proudly support our local club, Rangataua Rugby. Returning to Merivale (now Parkvale), where our journey in Tauranga began, truly feels like a homecoming.

Now, I’m ready and excited to guide others in finding their own sense of home — whether it's your first property, your third, a lifestyle block, a beachside retreat, or a project bursting with potential.
